I don’t understand your point? Why would that mean they would be diagnosed autistic?

I think it varies just like any other people. Religious practices are meant to train the spirit so it’s not supposed to cause any trouble.

What, you know you are very rude, how could you even ask that? No they are not. And I live in Bloomington, a place where a lot of tibetin monks live. And my boyfriend Is one and he talks and your just an A**.

Yeah, why would you even post that? what if a monk(call me crazy) was on here and saw that? Even though they don’t get on computers, just sayin.

well, i just think, a lot of monks practise refusal of danceing, and spend so much time in solitude that they don’t really connect with each other and are very lonely. i was curious if people would see that same connection that i made, but obviously not, i must have a different understanding of autism.

I think you should look further into it anonymous.
They have very deep connections with their own being, and the natural world and energies around them.

Everyone has autism at a different level, as far as I understand it. It’s not a case being autistic or not, but how far up or down the scale you are, so to speak.

yeah, that’s something that interests me. i think for someone to be diagnosed as being a sort of heavy autistic person is strange, i often wonder how get like that because I know a few people who are ‘autistic’ and i can relate to them really well but other people don’t seem to be able to and i know there is a solution for them because i just understand them so well and other people as well it seems, ah, well, i don’t know, it was just something that was on my mind.

I don’t think this post could really offend monks, unless they’re really immature. It’s a normal question, person thinks something and tries to understand, nothing wrong about it.
Being a monk doesn’t mean to isolate yourself from outer world and be lonely, it has another meaning and purpose is also different. I think you thought like that because you only see it from common person’s perspective, but you really should learn more if you want to understand it properly.
