Why this world need a God ?
do you believe in God ?
What makes us believe ? please try to give me a answer, which is new.
I want to know , if there is only one true God, why he made this many religions. or if all the religions are human creations then where is the truth about the universe, which we all do not know still ???
are we important or are we just pawns in the great game of nature ? or there is a purpose of us being in this earth ?

Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
there is one true god and he sent down his way but teh way got adulterated and mixed up so bad he had to send it a few times and then people started making their own ways up, i personally believe in god because if i dont then i got no hope of anything, this world sucks and everything in it and yeah the purpose of why you are here depends on what you believe, i believe, ultimately, justice will be served and thats what keeps me going on
Don’t think about religion and why we’re here.
Its more of - Do what’s right; Enjoy yourself and your life while you can
If you’re a good person, then religion will not be an issue.
What my father said when I brought up my loss my faith was this:
“If you’re a good person, either 1 of 2 things will happen; 1. You will go to Heaven and God will forgive your loss of faith, or 2. There is no God, but you will still be remembered as a good person. You still will have helped others.”
a beautiful question:
you will never find a single answer, only opinions, but I will gladly give you mine.
is there a god? without a doubt, yes…
but he isn’t in the bible or the qouran or any other religious text.
these books were written BY men FOR men, you can see this is true by how inequal man and woman are in religious society- but this is no reason to disown god.
I am a man, and all I need to do to find god is look to they sky.
our planet revolves around a sun which makes up our solar system- we are in a universe which is so unbelievable massive we could not comprehend it in 1000 lifetimes, the energy that createed this is god. but who created god?? that’s another story altogether
god exists but he doesn’t have a white beard and doesn’t give a **** which books you read….
What is meant by Kevlar Vest ? and i did not understand you.. pls explain
PomPom, We all believe God for a reason , that we need hope, happiness and to know that someone our mind/brain can depend on. but that explanation can make it look look we created God from our ways to represent something which have powers to do good to all of us.
Dots, I agree partially to you..but you still is not sure, whether God exists, and you are playing it safe, that in both the cases, you can be good. But if we think really about the meaning of truth, good and what is good and what is bad, still we are far away from realising about God.
Danny a Byrn, I agree to you almost. Ya,I know a person who realised about God, will not be sitting here and answering my questions, but still I can get some good understanding about things, going around in this world. And if we try to define God, it is impossible, because our brain, or mind things in limited boundary. we know only a limited story of the universe which was told to us by people and what we saw,and heard. for eg, if we say we can fly, or we can travel at speed of light, people will not believe unless they see it..so it is all about proof and otherwise it is just blind belief.
so where should we stand, and is it not a quest, we humans should start before it is too late ?
sorry, no offense and sorry if i hurt someone’s feelings.
regards
i don’ think it is important to ponder the answer….
you will never know until the afterlife (if it exists)
is it not better to spend your time on earth looking out for other humans instead of worshipping something which might not exist. admire the beauty of this world…and help others to see it to. with or without god
From the moment man opens his eyes to this world a great order surrounds him. He needs oxygen to survive; it is interesting that the atmosphere of the planet on which he lives provides more than just the adequate amount of oxygen he needs. This way, he breathes without difficulty. For the existence of life on this planet, the existence of a source of heat is essential. In response to this need, the sun is located at just the right distance to emit the exact amount of heat and energy human life needs. Man needs nourishment to survive; every corner of the world abounds in astonishingly diversified provisions. Likewise, man needs water; surprisingly, three-fourths of the planet is covered with water. Man needs shelter; in this world of ours, there is land on which it is suitable to build and all sorts of materials with which to make shelters.
These are only a few among billions of details making life possible on earth. In brief, man lives on a planet perfectly designed for his survival. This is certainly a planet “created for human beings”, as God said in the Quran:
“Do you not see that God has subjected for you all that is in the Heavens and all that is on the Earth, and has completed and perfected His Bounties upon you, [both] apparent and hidden?…” (Quran 31:20)
A person’s interpretation of the world rests on “acquired methods of thought.” That is, he thinks in the way he has been taught, or, less kindly, the way in which he is indoctrinated. Under this misguidance, he often dismisses all the aforementioned as “trivial realities.” However, if he does not side-step the matter, and start questioning the conditions making our existence possible, he will surely step out of the boundaries of habitual thinking and start to think:
How does the atmosphere serve as a protective ceiling for the earth?
How does each one of the billions of cells in the human body know and perform its individual tasks?
How does this extraordinary ecological balance exist on earth?
A person seeking answers to these questions surely proceeds on the right path. He does not remain insensitive to things happening around him, and doesn’t plead ignorance about the extraordinary nature of the world. A person who asks questions, who reflects on and gives answers to these questions will realize that, on every inch of the planet, a plan and an order reigns:
How did the flawless order in the whole universe come into being?
Who provided the delicate balances in the world?
How did living beings, incredibly diversified in nature, emerge?
Keeping oneself occupied with relentless research to answer these questions results in a clear awareness that everything in the universe, its order, each living being and structure is a component of a plan, a product of design. Every detail: the excellent structure of an insect’s wing, the system enabling a tree to carry tons of water to its topmost branches, the order of planets, and the ratio of gases in the atmosphere; all are unique examples of perfection.
In every detail of the infinitely varied world, man finds his Creator. God, the owner of everything in the whole universe, introduces Himself to man through the flawless design of His creation. Everything surrounding us, the birds in flight, our beating hearts, the birth of a child or the existence of the sun in the sky, manifest the power of God and His creation. And what man must do is understand this fact.
These purposes owe their existence to the fact that everything has been created. An intelligent person notices that planning, design and wisdom exist in every detail of the infinitely varied world. This draws him to recognition of the Creator.
So you need never plead ignorance that all living beings, living or non-living, show the existence and greatness of God, look at the things around you. Strive to show appreciation in the best manner for the eternal greatness of God. For the existence of God is obvious, and ignoring it would only be the beginning of the greatest damage we could ever do to ourselves. That is simply because God is in no need of anything. He is the One Who shows His greatness in all things and in all ways.
God is the owner of everything, from the heavens to the earth. We learn the attributes of God from the Quran:
“God! There is no god but Him, the Living, the Self-Sufficient. He is not subject to drowsiness or sleep. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them but they cannot grasp any of His knowledge save what He wills. His Footstool encompasses the heavens and the earth and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent.” (Quran 2:255)
can i clear up a common misconception? the quran came to muhammad in the form of verses given in certain times in certain situations from godthrough the messenger angel gabriel, it wasn’t actually written by muhammad but a lot of people keep saying this for some reason
well i am not a particularly religious person. but i think it is a good thing that people believe in god.i beleive in a god but at times i don’t. i’m still working this out. but to most people i think its good it gives people faith and decipline in their unorderly lives. gives them a purpose to live and breath. i think if alot of people were not religious or not to believe in something even if it does or doesnt exist i think its good or else we would be in deep **** alot of people would not have order in their lives.

Put your Kevlar vest on.
What does this mean?
Kevlar vest is like, a bulletproof vest and that anonymous person posted that because this guy posted about a controversial subject….that’s what i think
i don’t believe in god or any other religion
this world needs a god because they want to hope there’s something else after we die.
Yes, I believe in God with all my mind, heart, soul and strenght. And yes, I believe there is only ONE GOD.
As for the different religions… they are all man made.
If you seek him, with all your heart, you will find him.
If you read the bible, and pray, asking him to open it up to you, he will.
He inspired it, he will help you to understand it.
But, it can’t be done with the head only.
It has to include the spirit, and you have to seek him, thru his word, and his spirit.
He came into my life, in June of 1985, and I have never been the same.
I love you, and he loves you more…
God bless…..

The Quran was written by other ppl bcoz Muhammad cant read and write. He just memorized the revelations from God and then told his companions to write and then He said them to read, when they read, if there was a mistake, he corrected them.
Yes, I love Allah, Allah is my fountain of Life and My Savior. Allah keeps me going day & night. Without Allah, I am no one, but with Allah, I can do everything. Allah is my strength.

i mean the source, the bible was written by jesus’s disciple after he died, there was no bible at the time of jesus, but the quran was written down in the time of muhammad while he was alive not after he died… very big differences and also the angel gabriel gave the messages to muhammad but i think the bible’s books just came straight from god according to christianity, correct me if i am wrong
yes the bible came from the God but we believe that there are many changes made in it. Also do the scientists of Today. but Quran is the same as it was 1400 yrs ago.
Angel Gabriel brought the messages to the Prophet Mohammad. u r right.
i find it bizarre to believe that our existence is self sustaining. something’s out there that made us. i just call it god.
