Heya People, i am in a bit of distress here…

my boyfriend of not so far back is showing tendensies of mano depression (high highs and low lows) he has terrible moodswings and thenall of a sudden he is as happy as ever,,,,
and i wonder if there is anyone out there who has any knowledge in the subject..?

any help at all is apreciated :)

If he has been deemed a manic-depressive, then there should be medication to curb the mood swings, if he has not been professionally evaluated, then perhaps a trip to see someone is in order, either way it is a tricky illness to work with and is going to take tons of determination and patience.

My boyfriend used to be a manic depressive.. The best thing is to see a counciler. But if you dont fancy that then just try being happy around him and maybe that will cheer him up =]
