Hi, I’m getting laser eye surgery next week and they

told me I need to stay off work for the whole week cause the kind of procedure I need requires a longer time than usual for full recovery. I’m looking for suggestions on people who’ve been through it on what kind of things I can do to keep myself from dieing of boredom, since I probably won’t be able to read or watch tv or play the xbox. So, tips?

Did the doctors specifically say you wouldn’t be able to do things like reading?

I’m hoping to get laser surgery myself, (once I have more than two coins to rub together), and if I can’t play my xbox, I think that I may just go crazy. Seriously.

when you have it done.. can you let us know how it went.. what your outcome is and if it hurt?? sorry to throw that last concern in.. but this is something that i myself is considering on doing.. and am really afraid… i suffer from astigmatisms and floaters… my eye site is about normal.. but due to the astigmatism, it makes me just about blind with out my contacts.. thanks and goodluck.. oh.. my suggestion.. listen to lots of music.. and ask friends to come visit..
