i was wondering if there is a way I could get the purple heart even though he declined it??

I don’t mean to be rude but, a Purple Heart is a great medal of honor. It takes someone that is willing to die for their country to recieve. I think that declining a purple heart is a noble jesture, and it would be selfish and rude to try to get the heart back after all those years. I’m sorry, but the answer is legally NO!
