Only possible if you have installed something infected or are transfering data that could be infected…say from a CD, DVD, USB, etc…

If you have broadband, wireless, or wyfi you can .. Or like they said , if you put something in it that is infected.. My laptop accualy coughed at me a few times … That freaked me out … I said to my kids, is that a bad sign when your computer starts coughing ??? LOL … Somehow it stopped… Oh well … Hope it helped

Haha…well if it’s not wi-fi…and you didn’t install or transfer anything to your computer…it could be a software or hardware error…

depends who’s using the computer, if you install programs that were downloaded from the internet even while ur offline then they might contain viruses

I like wi-fi … I have the I-phone, and it always pick up on it.. That’s what I’m using right now ,, my phone.. LOL .. I love technology.. My hubby calls me a geek… LOL … He’s primative and won’t even learn how to turn the laptop on … Ya you can’t trust foreign softwear.. Viruses can be nasty… I’m just glad my ex-hubby hasn’t sent me one… (yet) … Nock on wood!!!!!

It’s an awesome extension of technology…the concept of ‘internet everywhere’ is really starting to take place…
Get the hubby to at least make a small step towards the light…helps in sticky situations…lol
