First, MAC or PC?
Second, do you have iTunes on your computer?
Third, have you connected your cables properly?

Pc, yes i have itunes, yes i have…do i have to add all the songs first before adding? N if i want to add a new song in future, do i have to add them all over again?

Your Nano will ’sync’ with iTunes once it is connected…if you have no songs in your iTunes playlist, then nothing will be added.
Fill up your list with all the songs you want and make sure the checkboxes to the left are checked for the ones you want on the Nano, and unchecked for the ones you don’t want on it.
When you upload new songs to iTunes, just leave the songs checked, once you plug in your Nano, it will automatically upload the songs.

How do i organise the songs then?

Songs organize themselves by title, album, etc, with the data that is filled in.
If there is not enough song data, you have to fill it in yourself.

Ok. What about the album art? DO i have to add in myself? Can i add my own pix? And how do i add movies?
