Some people who don’t believe in love have never actually experienced loving someone or being loved by someone. If you believe in spirit, depends on what kind of spirit we’re talking about here. If you believe that you can travel outside of your body and your body has a spirit that actually gives it life, then you believe in spirit. But some people think that a spirit is just a figment of their imagination and are alive because they are suppossed to be. Biologically speaking if your body organs don’t function the way they’re suppossed to function, you can die. Then your spirit flies off your body and maybe onto another body that is biologically functionalble. Does this make sense?

People don’t believe in love and spirit because those are powerful forces. A powerful way of controlling people is to make them not believe in the very existence of what controls them.

“keep reality secret.”

I don’t know. It’s hard for me to understand. I can’t imagine not believing in love. and the person who I am talking about is very kind. I can imagine not understanding love b/c I have a hard time understanding it.

Sometimes love is not love but the act of love. Acting loving towards other people that can be interpreted as believing in love.

Sometimes when people say they don’t believe in something, they’re really asking for proof. Like, “prove love to me.” Not because they want proof, but because they want to be loved.

Other times it is that the word is problematic. I had a co-worker who wanted to tell me how much I meant to her, but didn’t want me to take it the wrong way and feel like we should be “lovers”, and she used all sorts of other words to describe this grateful affection. Carefully avoiding the dangerously magic word “love”.

Maybe the reason why certain people don’t believe in love is because they have experienced betrayal too much. I will admit when I have been rejected or dumped I feel a bit like that. However, I always keep my belief, which I find stops me from going insane.

Every now and then i doubt there is actually a thing called love… but then i realise how depressing the world would be without it and i decide to give it another shot.

Sad to believe in something that is not lasting.I sometimes think of it,but it sounds ridiculous to me. Its just an illusion, that “love”. What is on fairytales and movies, its all bullshit. Only something you wished it was real. But is not. Get back on the ground, and face the reality. Its a cruel world, and so is that stupid thing, everyone is going all about.
