My computer randomly shuts down due to thermal overheating.

Anyone have this happen?

Yeah. I’ve seen it before but you aren’t giving us very many details. How do you know it is thermal overheating? When was the last time you cleaned your computer out? Is your computer stored in a ventilated area, or shoved into a small corner with no ventilation?

try open it up and look at the fan to see if it is running. If the fan is not running you probable need a new fan.
