I kinda need help if anyone can please :)

In what ways are Health Care or Human Service organizations unproductive or inefficient? Describe a piece of technology that could help improve productivity or efficiency; it could be software or hardware, currently existing or a future technology.
How would it make the organization more productive, more efficient, provide better customer service, or improve planning and decision making?

Organizations that do the same task and in the same place are inefficient because they require multiple sets of officers, buildings, fund-raising drives. (This is part of the idea behind the United Way’s one shot fund-raising–to cut down on the time and money organizations spend raising money.)

To the extent that they siphon dollars and energy off from more productive ways of doing things, that’s unproductive. Suppose instead of getting volunteers to read to children, they got the volunteers to work a few hours for Mom at McDonald’s or cleaning houses so SHE can read to the child and improve the mother-child bond, which we often complain is weak among single working mothers. Much better, and encourages skills the mother can use at other times when the volunteers are off, leading their own lives.
