friends help: Hi guys. - Help.com

Hi guys.

I have final exams starting tomorrow. I was going through review material for about two hours and it hit me:

I don’t have a freakin clue what I’m doing, what the prof is expecting, or how I am going to pull a pass out of this.

I cannot afford to lose my scholarship. This is just my first year in college at the easiest institute I think there is in this state. I’m already having to quit my job after some truly screwy business in the main office, I’ve got three years at least left on car payments, and if I fail college now, I don’t think I’m ever going to be okay. I’ll be stuck at some low-end job because nobody wants to hire anyone without college credentials and I don’t know if I can live like that.

I just needed to share this mini-meltdown with somebody. Since all my friends are alseep or studying themselves right now, I thought I’d turn to the world wide web.

I hope so. I hope it’s in there. The past few tests have been pretty horrific. Thank you so much for posting a reply. I just need some reassurance I think. I hope.

Okay. Positive thoughts….I can try to do that.

Even if I fail….I might be able to pay for a summer class to save my scholarship.

There is life outside of college. I’ll just have to try to find it. And I should be able to, with all the free time I’ll have if I fail.

I will not fail.
I will pull this thing out of somewhere.
I will pass.
Even if it is with a D.
I will not lose my scholarship.

Life will go on and I with it….

Now let me just staple this to my forehead so I don’t forget in the morning.
:D

i have gone through this many times, almost losing my scholarship, staying up wondering WHERE i was when the prof taught the material…probably spacing out…i know exactly what you’re going through though. like mithian said, take deep breaths and don’t worry about making it perfect. Just pass. I have passed with many D’s :) Don’t take everythhing 100% seriously.
Best Wishes and may the force be with you!
