Ann, I hope you have a positively lovely Queen’s Day! I have been to the Netherlands many times, and I love your country. I love its people! When I was serving in the military in Europe and we needed something, the Dutch always came through!

I also love to celebrate the 5th of may, to remember that we where liberated.
When they put on the libertyfire on that day, I feel so good!

On days like these everthing seems to be the way it should be,
everybody is dancing, enjoying, no worries. :)

HAha well its been a while now, but its to celibrate her birthday nationally.
Many people dress in orgage, a color claimed by the Dutch a bit :P

And what we do is Partyyy ! all day on the streets with music and all.

Happy Queensday, annlovestars! I live in Australia, but my father is Dutch. He left Holland quite a few years ago. He always told me that Queensday was celebrated with festivals.

One day when I have the opportunity to, I shall vacation there. I don’t think I could move there, but to see it would be wonderful. Besides, I haven’t had Dutch chocolate in a long time. LOL.
