My shadow
My other self ,
Helped me thinking
Gave me reasons and answers
Walked beside me
For many years
He gave that dark light
Inside me
That I hate

I have studied my shadow
I know his tricks and lies
For many years I have been
On the prowl
Waiting for that special moment
To strike
The time has come
For you to go away
Now is the time

Our Roads diverge
From here on
Am sorry
But i have to kill you
No other way
To get rid of my shadow
I have to stay
You have to go

So keep your lies
That I know by now
Don’t talk or say anything back
I didn’t ask you
This is how it will go
I shall shoot you
And you will drop dead
And I shale live alone
Free at last

My shadow
My other self ,

interesting :)
first poem I ever read about “a shadow”
It reminds me when I was small, I used to play with my shadow and try to hit it lol
But it used to be my friend though and not someone I have to get rid of :)

the shadow is the figure to imagine but the real meaning of the shadow in this poem is the dark side of you somehow ^_^

lol well I’m not so deep thinking person although I have a great imagination, so I didn’t think of it in that way :)
Well I liked the one which talks about the real shadow….
I don’t like bad sides especially I feel sad these days and I don’t like to think more dark thoughts than I already do :)

yeah first you aknowlege that you have a shadow then you choose to live without it …
you cant co-exist with ur mind if your mind is addicted to something you have to get ride of it sometimes so you can be free…

it was great! Yeah to me the shadow represents temptation and if you are Christian that temptation Is the devil. Ha so in your poem you got rid of the devil in you
