Are you bored or just feel like chatting?

Do you exercise? What else can you do when you get bored? Maybe you can recognize that you’re bored, tell yourself you’re not going to eat until you’re hungry, and then find something you can do (i.e. clean, go for a walk, take care of errands…)

It takes about 21 days to make a habit… so, stick with what ever you try to do, even if you have some setbacks along the way.

um, i am currently trying to lose weight as well. I learned that one of the easiest things to do is keep only healthy snacks in the house. Fruits, veggies, whatever you like. and if you must have chocolate ( i know i do! ) those 100 calorie packs are great. eat one, and then say i am done.

another thing, if you’re bored, is to take a walk, with your dog, a friend whatever. look up random stuff online. just find something to do! also i found that if you don’t keep so much ready to eat food, you won’t eat as much. if you have to go through and cook the food, (which involves work) you probably won’t do it. and if you do, well i suppose that’s killing your boredom! just make sure you don’t eat alot of that food!

I’m currently trying to loose weight too.

I’ve lost 10 pounds already just cutting out those pesky snacks by making sure I keep track of everything I’ve eaten that day. At night, when I’m getting ready for bed, I list everything out loud. When your staring at yourself in the mirror and listing off the cookies you had that day, it’s a real motivator.

Also, what I’ve found effective is to make TV watching an active sport. Instead of sitting on the couch, I get up, pace, dance to the commercials, do jumping jacks, etc.

And, finding a weight-loss buddy is helpful too. Challenge each other and get support when you are feeling unmotivated. You can even email me if you want, i> small>(email removed) /small> /i>

Walking is the best exercise for losing fat and ensure that your diet does not include any high calorie foods. Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://www.toloseweight.org/weightlos…

omg. loosing weight WILL help boost your self esteem definitely!(not referring to anorexia, iono about that). but yea, it happened to me. it may be tough at first, but once you make a habit of eating healthy and such, you feel SO much better about yourself. your self esteem goes wayyy up. and this helps also to help you continue to eat right. you feel good about yourself and if you respect yourself more, then you’ll know better than to eat foods that are bad for ya. also, you get more energy along with the good self esteem, and thus feel like doing more things (maybe start dancing hip hop, or join volleyball team) and this will help boost your self esteem even more and help you get even more fit. it all just adds up and leads to a way better life. then you’ll be wondering, why hadnt i started losing weight sooner?! hehe. its hard but you can do it! its all worth it. dont give up (even if you slip a bit) cuz its a gradual change. keep up the hard work. woot wooot! =)

I no exactly what you mean.. you do really well then suddenly there is nothing for you to do and ..oh look a cookie… i will just take one or two or seven nd next thing you no it as canclled all your good work.. if your feeling hungry have a cold VERY cold glass of water or some ice to chew on or have some coffee it stops the hunger pangs… or just count to 200 nd you will have forgotten.. and EXCERSISE!
