sleep help: Kombucha. - Help.com

Kombucha.

Pros and Cons? I just downed a glass of it and its awful. But my dad drinks it everyday being the hippie that he is. And he hasn’t gotten sick in about a year. And Im always catching colds and what not since I have practice in cold conditions most of the time and I dont get enough sleep. I read all the benefits of kambucha but it isn’t FDA approved so that kinda sketchyy. Does anyone drink it? If not why.. blah blah.

I think homeopathy is a bunch of hogwash. The reason these things are not approved by the FDA is because there is no scientific proof that they will do what they claim.

Kambucha isn’t homeopathic. There are a load of other flavors then just the basic one, if you’ve got a Whole Foods/Trader Joes or such like near you then take a look. The way I see it, if you are getting ill a lot then why not try it for a few months and see if it helps you. It’s not FDA approved because it’s not a medicine, like fruit isn’t FDA approved but it’s still good for you.

Kombucha isn’t homeopathic, and homeopathy does work no matter what the FDA has to say about it. That’s just how it is, if you want to know.
