idk just buy a dress and wear it?

Ugh, I hate having to wear things you don’t feel comfortable. I have to go to a wedding in a week and have to get all suited up for it because I’m related to the bride and it’s a big deal. I got my suit today and I have to say, the guy at the shop was pretty cool. He explained a lot about different styles and all that malarkey and helped decide. I’d recommend doing that, going to any shop that sells dresses then asking for advice from somebody who works there. And as for the anxiety thing, I’m afraid I can’t help at all there.

I was exactly like you ONCE when i swear i couldnt see myself in a dress and all and friends saying they also couldnt see me in a dress but i was going to a dance and guess what?!!

Hmm… maybe go over to one of your friend’s houses and borrow her dresses and just make yourself wear them for a bit to get used to it? :)

Check out goodwill for inexpensive dresses. You could go completely ridiculous and get one of those prom dresses from the 80’s. There are usually one or two at any Goodwill and they’re usually little sizes, which it looks like you are as well. Maybe see if your drama or choral departments have any that you could borrow since you’ll only need to wear it once.

hahahaha. i ALMOST had to wear a dress for my 8th grade dance. but its beach theme so I dont have to. im like you tho. rathere be in my skinny jeans and baggy shirts.

mall close to you. usually have a small shop in there full of dresses on sale cause they couldnt sell them before prom. good look finding one.

i know exactly how u feel. in august i had to wear a dress to my friends bat mitzvah which was from like 9 in the morning to like 6-7 at nite. and in june my grade is goin to DC and theres a nite on a yacht or sumthin lke that. its a dance and dinner thing. and we have to be realy fancy. that means 2 things i hate. heels and dresses
