Your family might believe you over time. Just let them take it kinda slow and try to to cry- it actually increases the stress..i know from experience!!

all i got to say is i believe you and this whole thing is stupid. they gave u detention for it. its stupid.and what u put in ur notebook is ur stuff and out of everyone u said that u and ur family r close well if u r close they would of none that its not true. you r there daughter and they should believe u.

everything in my life seems to be going wrong right now, but i know that god will take care of me and that everything wil turn out ok.

you may not be spending enough time with them in their eyes, so?!?! you are growing up!.
things change, situations, attitudes, time, but your love of them and them of you wont over your lives. everything else will. dont worry yourself over it too much.
its as much an adjustment for you are your parents ;)

Even if you were Bi, that would be okay. There is nothing wrong with that, especially as a teenager. Many teens experiment, if just to validate that they are straight. Your family should accept you, either way. Unfortunately, you cannot force others to believe anything, and you cannot read their minds, but you can be glad that you know the truth. The truth, and the ability of your peers to accept you; those are the most important things.

I know it seems like the end of the world, but in ten years you might look back and have a giggle. When I was in high school I had something extremely embarrassing happen to me. Something much worse than what you are going through, trust me. It was so bad I ran away for three days. I thought I would never be able to face my mother, or especially my father again. In time I came to find humor in the event. It also made me realize that mistakes me make and embarrassing moments are only as bad as we perceive them. My heart goes out to you! Hang in there, it will be ok!
BTW, I am a teacher and I am very disappointed that your teacher turned in that note to the principal. He/she could of handled the situation better! Maybe this will be an opportunity for you to improve communicaiton with your parents!

write another note in a diff diary that says your first note was false, and that nobody believes you and you’re sad..then tear it out and pass it around in front of your teacher, or leave the diary on your dresser so that your parents find it…since ppl around you seem to believe what you write on paper more than what you say, it just could work, lol.

but I think you’ll be ok! Just be strong and hang in there.

I’m a bit late coming into this post, but I just want to add something: your school sucks for letting your parents read a note so personal. Do you have some kind of student body, representation in the school? You should make an official complain for invading your privacy. And this ‘friend’ that tore something out of your poetry diary and then read it, is (s)he in as much trouble as you are? They sure should be!
