I cant cook :( I live on my own now and I’ve never cooked for myself.

Does anyone have any really simple meals that I can easily make …

I can cook instant things but I would like to start cooking some better meals for myself. One thing I have a hard time with is portions (I don’t eat a lot of food I like to eat 4 or 5 small meals a day rather than 2 or 3 big ones) and the other thing is I get queasy around raw meat but I need protean in my diet. I don’t really like to eat beef but I like pork and chicken but I have absolutely no idea how to make it and I don’t like to handle it raw. I’m being difficult :(

You can buy already cooked chicken at most grocery stores, although it is more expensive.

One easy meal is salad with cooked chicken in it. If you buy the already cooked chicken, you don’t have to cook anything.

Also, you can make mac and cheese (the boxed kind) and add cooked chicken and veggies (broccoli, zuccini, yellow squash, etc.). It’s not as healthy but it tastes good.

I also used to eat mac and cheese with canned tuna fish. It sounds strange but I think it’s really good (and the tuna is already cooked).

It’s good with raspberry vinaigrette dressing.

I used to get freaked out over the whole raw meat thing, but I got over it for some reason. Anyway, most people I know who don’t like touching the raw meat use latex gloves when handling it. Hope that helps a little!
