feel really bad need advice

i met this guy and we are really good friends then my friends told me that i shouldnt text call or Im him anymore so i sent him a a text to leave me alone until i get my thoughts figured out now i fell really bad and i wanta apolgize to him but im afraid he wont forgive me and it a long distance way between me and him and i fell horible about it

well my friends said that i shouldnt be talking to him since he lived in a diffrent state and that hes going to start stalking so they said the best thing to do is to break it off and say you might need time or to leave me alone and the few friends that have usally diffrent ideas said the same

they werent randmally saying it i listened to the one that got hurt by a girl she thought she loves and now her mom wont let her back on the computer
