Every time I go onto help, I look at my notices, shouts, and invites.

There always seems to be something like this figure:
Notices: 104
Shouts: 0
Invites: 7
Impersonal notices. Invites asking for help.
But no shouts. No messages.
Maybe instead of inviting everyone on your list of friends to posts, we could shout people on our friend lists. We could build new friendships. They’d come to posts without an invite. They’d come because they want to help you, not because they’re obligated to. Maybe it would bring a smile to the face of someone who doesn’t get very many shouts to find this message instead:
Notices: 104
Shouts: 2
Invites: 7
Think about it.

I know what you mean about the impersonal invites. Sometimes I don’t even respond to invites because I just feel like I could be replaced by the many other friends on that person’s list. I like shouts though, even if I don’t get very many. :)

I have always gotten shouts only from a select few users. It has never bothered me. I mean, sheesh, I only have a select few on my friends list. Maybe that makes me unpopular or something but it’s never bothered me.
I know what you’re saying, and support it, but I think part of it might be that not many people really know you that well. But I could be wrong.

By the way, it’s not me we’re talking about. I really don’t mind not getting shouts, haha. I’m just saying… it might be a nicer thing to do. It’s easier than donating money or volunteering, isn’t it? Just a couple of words can bring happiness. Doesn’t that seem pretty simple?
