There are many types and religious beliefs for different evangelists, do you have a specific religion?

That we all come from a Goddess named Lilith and angels derive from Adam, Lilith’s husband. The ultimate goal is to return to Lilith through the instrumentality of Mankind.

I don’t really know what type. A friend of mine is one, and I’m trying to understand it for their sake. Haven’t really had much luck though.

From my experience coming from the Christian religion, it is someone who spends much of their time building up the Church (not A church). They do this in many ways. In today’s world it usually means a preacher that travels from church to church holding “revivials”.

Your friend can probably tell you more.

A very common meaning of the word Evangelist is a Christian who tries to convert others to Christianity. That’s what I automatically think of when I hear the word, but it has other meanings as well.

This is from the Greek word euaggelistēs (εὐαγγελιστής). It means a bringer of good news or the gospel. Evangelists express their gratitude and appreciation for receiving the gospel message by sharing it with others. An evangelist concerns themselves only with spreading the word. It is their belief that only the Holy Spirit can prepare the hearts of people they speak to so they will be ready to receive and accept the message in faith. However, the Holy Spirit will not force anyone against their will which would deny people their humanity.
