I need help getting my mind off of something

There has been a lot going on recently and I need to get my mind off of it. Focusing on one thing for a long time is really unhealthy and it has been leading to some anxiety issues. What are some ways to keep my mind off how I will do on tests, school etc.

It is easier to replace an obsession with something else than to ignore it outright. Find something that you can fully immerse yourself into, something that requires you to be fully present and engaged. Sports can be good.

hey, go outside and do something, read a good book under a tree, go find a nice hiding spot in a woods or park and bring ur ipod/mp3 player/ cd player and relax…

I like that idea… nothing like sitting in a park and enjoying some fresh air.. afterall it is spring now!
