We are having big financial trouble.can’t seem to find a way out.

looking for any kind of advice at all. we suffered the loss of two children and have three more to keep safe and happy. desperately need some advice.
About to loose home.bankrupt(pernding), and disabled. mortgage is 20yr term @ 6 1/4% need help to stretch the term and i’ll increase interest , or find a way to get a partial claim. mortgage is fha insured.
If anyone out there has any thoughts please feel free to advise us on any options.

You can do a few things:

Call HUD and ask for help.
Call your local Congressman or Senator.
Call your local Church (if this is something that you follow).

Did you try talking to family?

Call ALL of the companies that you have bills with and ask them for help. These people want their money and will most of the timego out of their way to make sure they get it(some of it) back. Start a list of who you owe and start calling ASAP. Let each of them know who you have spoken to, what you can afford to pay and when, etc.

Stop spending money on things you dont need. This might sound like a simple concept but this is how people get into these problems. I’ll give you an example - cancel your internet access - this is NOT a need.

Best advice is to be as honest as possible with those people involved and try to work things out.
