why do people even through trash on the floor like right by the trash can?

You’re so right. I hate that. People are so lazy about dropping rubish. Everyone needs to take responsibility, everywhere would look so much better. Also there would be a huge reduction in vermin and smell. We need a new campaign like the @Keep Britain Tidy’ campaign.

Because people are idiots. However, rest assured that there are programs to help fix this. In out town there is an annual pick-up-trash day where everyone goes out onto the street with bags and gloves and picks up trash!

if you think about it, how much better is it that we produce waste and put it in a trash can, where it’ll go to a landfill somewhere and just sit there, being unused? The real solution is to become more creative, use more reusables, make the most of our trash, limit our waste as much as we can, compact it, and find new uses for the seemingly ‘useless’. It’s a challenge that requires creativity and resourcefulness and new policies, that’s it.
