Personal question that may be helpful in order to answer (however, don’t tell if you’re not comfortable): How much do you weigh? In order to tell you if you’re at a healthy weight, we have to actually know your weight.

If you workout two hours a night and eat healthy, you don’t need to lose weight, despite what you may see on tv.

i feel the same way as you sometimes. what i do is go to google and type in something like “body mass index” or something to that effect. find a website where you can put in your height and weight and see if you really are average. it sounds like you may be worrying a little too much about your health. it may be unhealthy (no pun intended)

you need to stop worrying about what the scale says. If you are active and eating healthy you will be a healthy weight. And eating fast food now and then is OKAY. Being skinny does not equal healthy. If you continue doing what you are doing, eating healthy and exercising, your body will stay at a weight that is healthy for you.

Stop going to McD’s if you want to lose anything.

McDonald’s is fine every once in awhile. It’s not like you’re going to gain 10 pounds just from eatinga hamburger meal and a soda.

Honestly, not to sound too mean or harsh, but I seriously woner if these posts are serious people that are really having a problem or people just wanting to post something stupid. If you’re the first, then I think you don’t have a weight problem but more or less a self confidence issue. Yet again, not to totally sound harsh but get over it! Who cares! You sound normal to me. If you’re eating healthy and exersize who cares? You’ll be fine! SOme people are bigger than others, but to me you sound like a tiny-bopper who just can’t stand it becasue she’s not the skinniest in school. You’ll be fine. Trust me, you’re extrememly healthy in comparison to kids I know of. You’re not 5′ 6″ and 200 pounds like a girl I go to school with. What does it matter. You’re a kid, act like it. Live life to the fullest. You shouldn’t be worring about this.

Whatever you do, don’t make yourself feel guilty over eating, because that will send you in a way you really don’t want to go: that way lies years of therapy, anxiety, friends and family worrying about you and great potential health problems. Instead, reward yourself for doing excersizes and vary the excersizes you do: dance one day, ride a bike the next, go swimming the third, take a run et cetera. And keep eating healthy. The thing is, not every girl is build to look as thin as you may want to be. If you are healthy, in good physical condition and eat enough healthy food, yet are not as lean as you aim to be, it might be impossible to reach your goal. You are no longer a child, your body has developed and you cannot turn that back. The good news is that you can still be a very beutiful girl, whatever your normal body shape is.

My secret
I’ve been on yo-yo diets and diet pills for half of my 30-something years. None of them worked – until I joined a yoga class two years ago. Even then, I was hesitant and thought it was just money down the drain. Surprisingly, I started seeing results in 2–3 months. Friends called me and asked me about my new found secret. I felt so healthy and great that I decided to share it with everyone. Yoga taught me the best way to lose weight – slowly and gradually. Yoga not only helped me lose weight but also to keep it off. It may have helped that my yoga teachers were all male with absolutely great physiques. They provided the motivation for my workouts.
My yoga teachers taught me that there are 2 mantras for losing weight slowly without harming your body in any way.

Eat right
Eating healthy is extremely important. I lost weight by eating lots of fruits and vegetables, milk, yogurt, eggs and drinking plenty of water. I avoided oil, cheese, sugar and all fatty foods. It helps to have daily routine times for meals because eating routinely and not skipping meals keeps your metabolism active, which burns more calories.

Get exercise
I got plenty of exercise through long walks, running, going to the gym and doing yoga. I take the stairs instead of the elevator. I huff and I puff but I make it to the fourth floor of my office. I have made exercise buddies who give me company while walking or running.
As a result, I saw my social life go into overdrive. I started being asked out on dates more often and now, I am back to my search for true love. Trust me – it’s not just another weight loss theory!

srdocker: many girls (and some boys) your age go through the same thing: they feel fat even though they are actually skinny. There are three things you have to do. The first is to tell your parents and friends that you feel this way and would appreciate if they help you feel good about yourself, like complimenting you once in a while, focusing on good things you have done et cetera. Also ask them to distract you from things that put pressure on you, like fast food chains, skinny models et cetera, whatever makes you think about this. Do that for yourself as well: distract yourself from the whole weight issue, it’s not worth it and you will only feel worse if you keep thinking about it. The third thing you should do is find someone (or several people) to talk to, who you really trust, and talk about whatever is bothering you at that time, what’s exciting, what you look forward to, what you are afraid of et cetera. Having people to genuinely talk to can take some pressure off you, whether it is related to the weight issue or not at all.
This advice should work to prevent this issue from becoming an eating disorder. If however, you already have an eating disorder, I strongly advice you to get some professional help, since that’s too big to handle on your own, for anyone, not just for you.
