Jesus 7 ministries?

My father called me earlier and he asked if I knew what Jesus’s 7 ministries were. I do not know what he is talking about. He lives in a senior community and each week they have different churches come and do a service for them. Well the one that was there today said something about Jesus having 7 ministries. He gave a Bible reference which my father checked but did not find any information. So I said I would see what I could figure out. Well it is now 10:30 and I am tired. So I am asking you to help me with my “homework.” Do you know?

He told me, but now my mind is blank and I can’t remember. I will have to ask him in the morning when he calls to ask me what i found out. I asked him what church was the speaker from and he said he did not know.

I have not heard of this either, but, perhaps he was talking along the lines of the 5 fold ministry, which is mentioned in the bible. Don’t know about 7.

I do not think so. He said it was Jesus’s Ministries. When I talk to my Dad, I will ask him to put it in to context. I’ll see what was the message of the service. It might help.

Ok, he said the minister had been talking about Revelations during the service. Then the minister was talking about 7 spirits of Jesus. Then he said not to confuse you we will say the Seven Ministries of Jesus. My Dad thinks SerenityBlue might have it right. He may have been talking about the 7 churches. He also mentioned John 14 and 15.

Thanks everyone for your help. My dad said that same minister will come again next month and he is going to ask him to explain it for him.

I love that I have the ability to ask all of you these question. I am a blessed have found this site.
