First of all, I want you to do a little chack for me. If you are running windows, there should be a little speaker on the bottom right had side of the screen. Please right click it.

There should be two options that come up. Please pick the top one.

Those are all the sound levels of your computer. You will want to increace the far right one, the one that says line in.

The only other help I can give is if I can know what program… but please try this first…

What do you know… working for HP finally paid off…

Sorry… got myself mixed up… there should also be another column that says microphone…

If you run a windows, got to my applications…um, then where you go to open paint…er, then where you got to record sounds.
there is another icon that’s called…(man this would be easier if i was on a dell right now!) It just the other one that looks like a slider. You open that, the turn up your mic.

if it still dosn’t work, go to the properties of that program, go to the tab that sais recording, then press ok. the sliders will change and you will be able to see your mic input.
