Help with rising trot on Horses

I’ve recently started rising trotting on my horse and was wandering with anyone had any tips for me?

I know to rise and sit on the beat of 1.2.1.2 and rise wen the outside front leg rises and sit wen its on the ground, but im going a bit slow, any tips of how to do the sitting and rising faster?

just let the beat guide you… it should be easy to go in time with the horse. if not, think of a song that has a quicker beat and sort of rise and sit with that.

I know what you mean, you are going down, horse going up…bang..

Just learn to relax and read the horse.

Sorry butt thats all I can say…I love horse riding and only had a problem with this for a very short time. I learnt to relax and not be so tense. Tthis helps you read the horse.

try to feal the rythm and then go from there
if you are rising and falling to the rythm then kick ur horse on a little bit so he goes into a nice quick trot but stick to the rythm and ull do fine x

first, you have to kind of sit it. then, whenever you feel youself bumping up, rise just a bit, then sit back down, thats how I learned.

i ride horses alot…i have many of my own u should do a shorter ride so its not as high as that mnight be the problem. maybe u should try sitting to the trot first to get the rythem of your horses beat…
