How do I remove a trojan.zlob spyware?

Help me please. My computer is failing and I can’t find the D*** thing. I’ve ran my anti-spyware software over a dozen times and nothing can find it. I have no idea where I picked it up on the internet but I found it a few weeks ago and tried to delete it but it can’t be removed. What can I do? I can hardly use my internet, even while I type this in. Is there a way I can find out what is wrong? Thanks.

Here is a list of some of the software that I use, which you can download.

Spyware Doctor
Adaware (this probably won’t help though)
Spybot
Trojan Remover

Have you got a firewall installed; if so which one?
What problems does this trojan cause and how did you find it?

If all else fails, back up your C:/Documents and Settings/ and C:/Program Files/ folders and reinstall your copy of windows.

It’s the last solution if all spyware/virus hunters fail, and will result in all documents and files on your computer becoming unusable. This means you’ll have to reinstall all your software and setup your entire system a second time. If you make backups, it shouldn’t be too risky.

Before you go all the way though, try spybot. It’s the best anti spyware and anti trojan program I’ve used to date.

My webpages will stop loading half way through, I can’t watch videos (from you tube or other sites), my internet is very slow (I have US cable).

I’ll give a example of what happens…
I go to google and I click on maps this is what comes up…(sorry if its a mess)
// ‘ + ‘/script>’);}function GBrowserIsCompatible(setBodyClass) {if (G_INCOMPAT) return false;if (!window.RegExp) return false;var AGENTS = [”opera”,”msie”,”safari”,”firefox”,”netscape”,”mozilla”];var agent = navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase();for (var i = 0; i AGENTS.length; i++) {var agentStr = AGENTS[i];if (agent.indexOf(agentStr) != -1) {if (setBodyClass && document.body) {document.body.className = agentStr;}var versionExpr = new RegExp(agentStr + “[ \/]?([0-9]+(\.[0-9]+)?)”);var version = 0;if (versionExpr.exec(agent) != null) {version = parseFloat(RegExp.$1);}if (agentStr == “opera”) return version >= 7;if (agentStr == “safari”) return version >= 125;if (agentStr == “msie”) return (version >= 5.5 &&agent.indexOf(”powerpc”) == -1);if (agentStr == “netscape”) return version > 7;if (agentStr == “firefox”) return version >= 0.8;}}return !!document.getElementById;}function GVerify() {}function GLoad() {GAddMessages({1415: ‘.’,1416: ‘,’,10037: ‘Start address’,10038: ‘End address’,12135: ‘Show options’,12136: ‘Hide options’,10093: ‘Terms of Use’,10095: ‘To see all the details that are visible on the screen,use the \x22Print\x22 link next to the map.’,10096: ‘’,10049: ‘Map’,10111: ‘Map’,10120: ‘We are sorry, but we don\x27t have maps at this zoom level for this region.\x3cp\x3eTry zooming out for a broader look.\x3c/p\x3e’,10050: ‘Satellite’,10112: ‘Sat’,10121: ‘We are sorry, but we don\x27t have imagery at this zoom level for this region.\x3cp\x3eTry zooming out for a broader look.\x3c/p\x3e’,10116: ‘Hybrid’,10117: ‘Hyb’,11758: ‘Terrain’,11759: ‘Ter’,11794: ‘Show labels’,10021: ‘Zoom In’,10022: ‘Zoom Out’,10023: ‘Click to set zoom level’,10024: ‘Drag to zoom’,10507: ‘Pan left’,10508: ‘Pan right’,10509: ‘Pan up’,10510: ‘Pan down’,10029: ‘Return to the last result’,10511: ‘Show street

Thats what comes up for most webpages but they’re all different…Do you have any idea what could be wrong? thanks.

I found it from Windows Live OneCare one day while I was on CNN videos. I did what Windows OneCare did, which was to clean it and remove the software. After I did that my internet has been fine until this week.

Have you tried typing the name of the Trojan into Google and seeing what comes up?

HiJackThis (download) shows you the different processes that are starting or running. This program allows you to disable any that are causing you problems. ProcessLibrary.com allows you to search for the different processes and see which ones are bad.

Use these two in conjunction and see if you can disable anything that is causing you problems.

Like yassengregorovich said, if all else fails backup your files and reinstall your OS.

For what it is worth I had a Zlob a while back and no matter what I tried it failed to clear.

Out of sheer desperation I downloaded Microsoft’s Defender (a free programme) and ran a full scan, which took ages, when it eventually finished it identified the problem and dealt with it too.

I then re- ran the full scan (a few days later) to see if I was still free and thankfully I was.

Whether or not you decide to do likewise, is for you to decide, but at least Google Defender to learn more.

I think I got the Trojan.Zlob from Utube. I had to pay $99 for tech support so they could “clean” my computer. I got this within the last week and I watch the utube videos about news things which aol recommends. Did anyone else get this trojan thing through utube?
