not PG13 so how can i make it so.

i was being anonymous while i chated with an ex whom i hadent seen/heard of in about 2 years,well recently he guessed who i was and he guessed right, he found out it was me, i guess he knows me better than i thought…. umm….. so far we are doing well, except talk of old times leads to um…. inapropirate conversations… and er yea… i dont think we should “level up” to those types of conversations just yet, but our past was kinda heated so its hard to avoid them…. how do i keep it PG13 without sounding like im not interested, (i mean when we get into those conversations its hard getting out, ive tried)how do i let him know that i care for him and that im interested, without having to go that way…. i mean i love him and all but that stuff gets tooo hot….(er, plz help, i dont want it to be that way, but this guy is like my cryptonite….. idk what to do)

i think i will tell him, but its fairly dificult, everytime we start talking about the good times, we end up going to that, i want us to have a relationship and i realize we had a past together but he wants to start from where we last left off, i think we should take it slow, i have a date w/him tomorow so i guess i can tell him then, thank you
