If you can, give good reasons why deleting posts from
kids asking how to get on myspace at school is a good idea.

Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
Problems with Myspace.com, Friendster or Bebo.com?
Generally speaking, if you are having issues with those sites it is best to contact their support staff directly. These links can get you started:
Myspace Support, Friendster Support and Bebo Support
If you are trying to access these services from your school and are blocked, we suggest you abide by the schools rules while you utilize the schools equipment.

yeah, go helpbot! lol “we suggest you abide by the schools rules while you utilize the schools equipment.”
Can you write that in English?
I think you are saying if you leave them up the kids get the idea they can’t get round it.

is that better?
if the posts are deleted the kids will also know they can’t get round it.
Must admit it is getting endless. Everytime i login there is always one asking how to get by the blocks at school, in my Notices.
they bug others too loudoun.
Shows the don’t have common sence to go & check if someone else has all ready put one on asking, & seen the replies to that one.
Are there still so many questions about homework too? Last time I was here it was getting mad about book reports. I’m up for discussing books but must of these were blatant, “This is my homework question”
green bedsocks, this is another beneficial reason to not allow the myspace questions, because very likely these are kids who ask for help with their homework because they didn’t pay attention in class.
As a former high school student, I remember what it was like wanting to be able to check my myspace during my free time at school and not be able to. Luckily, I was able to find plenty of ways around it, and I don’t understand why you guys are trying to give kids the idea that they can’t… they most certainly can. Its not impossible, as its been done many times before. And why shouldn’t they? They’re not doing anything wrong. Being able to go on MySpace at school should be protected by the first amendment aka the freedom of speech. I don’t agree with schools putting a ban on it in the first place therefore I highly support the inquiring minds of kids who want to know how to thwart it.
yes but pinnkladixx i get fed up of kids on this site constantly asking the same question.
Well, you can’t blame them for wanting to know the answer. When new questions are posted, old ones sort of get pushed back, and if they’re not on the top page, chances are the kids won’t see them or know that their question has already been asked and answered. Its not really that big of a deal and its not really worth getting fed up over, in my opinion. Maybe this site should look into creating a ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ forum, and put up a notification for new posters asking if they were planning to ask any of those questions and if they were to look no further as their questions have already been answered.
