Cursed

How does a person know he’s cursed?
I will tell you how:
When the bad events are so much that they could not be only random events in his life.
When a person starts a job and on his first day he’ll quit it!
When a person will start teaching and his second day of teaching will be his last day he’ll teach too.
When some company calls him for a job interview but at the same time, he’ll feel he is not wanted in this company.
When a person trys to find a job and he really do find one, a really good one, but wait a minute! My parents won’t allow me to do such a job!
The curse goes on and on untill you believe in it so much that you nearly go to a witch to make it go away. Or in my case just ask God “please please please remove this curse of my life and I’ll be a good girl again”

Ok all this is happening to me in this same year and I am sure there is more to come. Sometimes I see it funny and sometimes I cry because of it and sometimes I see it as an adventure because I am still young and do not have any responsibilities. But why couldn’t a single job work? I wonder.

I think I might have a solution, but it’s hard. A person like me must change her characters and behavior to change how others view her. I must change what others expect me to do, and I must let them expect from me different things. And if I need anything from people, it will be good to know what they are looking for in a person. I will try to give them what they want.

I’m not going to do that because I simply can not! It is a stupid thing to do! Not be myself. And it is a hard thing too. Sometimes bad luck would work against a person even if he did everything to fight it.
Sometimes I think that people failing will fail all the time. And those succeeding in life would succeed all the time too.

Some other times I will believe there is still hope for me.

There are no curses… there are only choices. Your post is full of wisdom. Some of the wisdom however is disguised as a negative perspective. You cannot change others, and what they think of you. You can deliver to them the person you want them to see, but some will see whatever they want. A famous Psychologist, Rollo May, once said, “… the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results each time”. If you want your life to be different, then yes, you must change what you are doing. The Universe does not spill good or bad onto people… the Universe just IS. YOU apply the meaning to your life. You may call it cursed or you may call it blessed. A Buddhist will tell you life is all about suffering and how we can overcome that. They will tell you that you have suffering in your life because you have desires. Every problem in the life comes with a reward. We seek life’s problems, because we want life’s rewards. Try waking up tomorrow with the intention that this is going to be a great day, and when you go to bed, let your prayer to God be, “thank you thank you thank you, for all the good things you gave to me today”.

Well… life is hard and tough. You should always be who you are. Bad things just happen sometimes. And sometimes it seems too hard. But what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Why do you listen to your parents when getting a job?
And new people are always frowned upon. New people make others feel always uncomfortable. It just is so. If you like a job then stick with it. World belongs to the strong.
Good luck!

Your words are full of wisdom sir. Thank you. It’s just my diary but people learn from what they have written before. You taught me something important now.
