Is it harmful?

I let my friend color on me with sharpie today like a lot and i mean a lot. could it harm me in any way? it was on my hand if that makes a difference.

wash it off before you go to sleep and dont do it often, and no, not really.

if it happenned more than once, or you left it there a long time, it could be bad.

I’d be careful what you let people write, after all it is PERMANENT!
Seriously, it’s a silly thing to do. It will take a few washes to get it out completely, you’ll be ok, but don’t do it again.

Yes but Medusa was in the Betty Ford clinic for Bad Body Art for 3 years - she is qualified to ground you for this ridiculous behaviour. Bed now and no milk and cookies - as Medusa would say. She would but she might be pished right now.

Similarly to how a snake sheds its skin once and a while, your skin sheds as the new layers underneath grow. It takes approximately 10 days for a permanent mark on the top of your skin to get rubbed off. Yes, it must be on top of your skin, such as drawn with a marker, because something further down begins to cross the line into the thats-almost-a-tattoo zone.

I haven’t been on the site for 4 days as been very busy, and now having to try and get rid of 200+ notices. ho hum, missed some good debates, you could say it’s pishing me off. :)
