project help: I need to do a report on how we went into Vietnam for noble causes. - Help.com

I need to do a report on how we went into Vietnam for noble causes.

This project seems impossible for me, I cannot think of any reasons. Is there anyone here who could help me think of some?

There where “noble” causes for the Vietnam war. It was not the nobility of the conflict that was the problem, it was the management of the war that was the problem. But you always have to realize wars are many faceted, for every Noble cause there is a non-noble cause to war.

Some quick Noble causes.

To help the South Vietnamese resist the Communist movement from the north from talking over. The South Vietnamese did not want this to happen and did need help.

To oppose Communist expansion

Also look into the fact that the US entered into the war to help the French who where no longer able to manage the area themselves.
