Throwing up effects your singing voice in two ways, first it erodes you lining of the esophagus making your voice horse like when you have a sore throat. As the esophaguse erodes and during the hacking process your bronchia and lungs produce flem to help. This will give you a horse flemmy voice – not at all good for singing.

hey, i sing too & it seems like i may be going through the same thing as you.
I know that people who have serious cases of bulemia end up having rotting teeth because of constantly throwing up & acidic juices in the stomach ect, however what if i brush my teeth straight after?

i dont know how much that helps. but yeah, i do the same thing along with flossing and using flouride everyday. i dont think that it will stop it completely, but i think it’ll slow dowm the process. im not sure though.
