multiply the top and bottom by (2-2^1/2) The root will disappear off the top and you will be left with the answer.

uhhh….You don’t need extra help, I told you how to answer the problem!

Just multiply the top and bottom by (2-5^1/2). Roots should not be in the denominator and this will eliminate that problem.
