school help: i dont know what to do. - Help.com

i dont know what to do.

im a junior in high school and im almost done with school. my teachers hate me and i have a huge assignment due tomorrow that i didnt get done because of logistically screw ups. im so stressed out and i feel so hopeless. i think that right now i have three cs on my report card and i havent gotten a flat out c since middle school. i just feel like this is the end of the world…any advice?

Okay first off, its not the end of the world. Trust me, I have written 12 page papers at the very last hour and pulled it off before, in fact, I’m in the process of doing so right now, lol. Just tell me what the assignment entails. You can still get it done. What time is it where you live right now?

the problem is that its a volunteer project where you have to go out and spend 3 hours doing service…i just cant bring myself to lie about this. i dunno i just have this really horrible teacher. i prepd what i could for it and thankfully its on 8 40 or so but i just feel like such a screw up.

Don’t feel that way. Everybody slacks off in high school at one point or another. Its a part of life. As for the horrible teacher bit? Get used to it, there are plenty more where he/she came from. Trust me, I’ve had my fair share of them. I guess that’s just life for ya. You make mistakes and you learn from them. Don’t give up just yet. Did you do the three hours? And do you need any written proof that you did? Honestly, I know lying is not the best advice, but in this case, your main concern should be your grade. If you want to pass and if you think you can get away with it, keep prepping for it as much as you can. Its only 8:40 for you, lucky for you its, 11:47 for me right now, so you’re slightly better off than I am. You have some time before you go to bed, so just keep working at it. I have faith that you’ll get it done in time. Just don’t give up hope. Anything’s possible if you set your mind to it. :)

it’s not the end of the world, there is plenty of volunteer stuff you can do. even the smallest thing is worth something. what you can do is see if there’s any extre-credit work you can do in order to bring your grade up. usually teachers, (no matter how screwed up they are) will give some kind of extra-credit work they can give you.
