What do you think this means?
I wrote this poem, and I think it’s obvious what it means, but everyone I ask seems to get confused. See if you can figure it out.
To Whom it May Concern
The air we breathe
the very nature of our existence
Oxygen, please
Is more prevalent in the sea.
Us and them, we all rely on air,
but we can’t breathe below
and they can’t breathe up there.
Policies, procedures, reports, and other deeds
Watching, Waiting, Devouring our every seed.
No wait, the box says “satisfaction guaranteed”
Is that the guarantee of oxygen
beneath an icy sea?
