kso, my teacher suggested that I enter some poetry competition.
tell me which of my poems you like the most, please. I know that they’re a bit dark, but get over it.
Flooding
Awakened in the morning drops of rain
falling like tears on the face of pain
people pass by, ignoring this stranger
past the point of feeling anger
waiting for hope to come my way,
i’ve become numb to the pain,
drowning in a world flooded by rain.
Dangling
This love makes her hear jingle,
it makes his eyes twinkle
as it leaves my heart,
dead and limp.
Storming
Wishing for the sun, but I can’t see when it’s storming,
All that comes is red skies in the morning,
I’ve been ina world going nowhere
No hope, no direction, no fear.

Broken glass reflecting the moonlight
sitting here, another sleepless night,
Does anyone care?
God are you listening?
You said you’d be here, but I can’t hear your whisperings
A gentle breeze brushes past and paints the sunrise
But I am too tired to open my eyes
as I drift away to sleep tonight
