Don’t understand my photograph rating?

So a few weeks ago I posted my picture on Hotornot.com- a meet people website where you post your picture and people rate you 1-10 (being hottest). Well I posted this picture and in a few days checked its rating which was a very gratifying (for me) 8.0. Then I noticed that I had inadvertantly posted it in the “Rate Men” category. I immediately changed it to the “rate women”, waited a few days and the rating came back 3.4. What the hell happened? any ideas?

I would rate you much higher than that, but your photo is small so it’s hard to tell much. That site sounds like an invitation for people to be shallow. I wouldn’t bother with it.
