Hey guys.
Need some help with lyrics. This is what I got so far…
It’s not about survival of the fittest, the quickest or the slickest,
But how we coexist, that’s the twist,
So don’t make a fist and insist that we enlist,
In your ideologist tryst, ‘cos…
I’m not sayin’ I’m an idealist, just a realist,
I’m not a Buddhist or an evangelist,
But if I had to write down my wish-list,
It’s that we could all live unpredjudist,
And those that want to be herbalists,
Could allow the industrialists,
To forgive the the nihilists,
Who could accept the fundamentalists,
And the popularists could embrace the modernists,
Cos the pessimist couldn’t live without the optimist.
Cos it’s not about others stoppin’ your flow,
It’s about finding ways to help yourself grow,
So if you need to go slow, go slow,
And don’t be worried about your cashflow,
Cos what you reap you sow.
So don’t live by someone else’s manifesto,
Just find what gives you your get-up-and go,
And just turn up the tempo.
And if you find yourself in limbo,
Your song is pianissimo,
And everyone else’s sounds fortissimo,
Just let yourself go…
I need two more lines to end that verse. :s
Cheers everyone x
