Do I have the right to be angry?

My friend asked me y I want her to do things she doesn’t want to do.. I said I just would like her to compromise sometimes. She then told me she compromises by hanging out with me in her free time….sooo is it right that i’m hurt and i feel like a fool for having her as my friend still?

i understand that you are angry, and you kind of have the right to be. however - she can do what she wants it is not your choice, u will have to respect her feelings. talking to another friend might help

The idea that one is punished by one’s anger more than for it has often seemed true to me — that is, whether you have the right to be angry or not, it’s not much fun, so do something about it if you can.

I agree with Melt too.The anger is really hurt.Don’t let it fester, it will only hurt YOU.tell her that it hurts,that you thought your friendship was more than that.She may respect you for it.And if she doesnt,oh well.Cant please everyone :)
