Just because it’s obvious you like country (and because it’s not on the list),
I’m gonna say BLUES!

By the way, rap & hip-hop are essentially the same thing.

I can find something to respect in every genre of music, even if I don’t listen to it. As far as I go, I’m a funk/metal/old-punk/jazz/classical/acoustic fan.

Nah, there are some differences. That’s like saying metal and rock are the same thing. But what do I know? I’m no expert.

My favorite artists are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Antoine Dufour, Weezer, Killswitch Engage, Maroon 5, and, oddly enough, Prince. These are just a few of many, though.

From what little I know by talking to hip-hop aficionados, rap is the actual method of putting rhyme and lyric to rhythm. In other words, hip-hop is the overall encompassing music while rap in and of itself is the ‘vocal bit.’ But I too am no expert and could very well be wrong.

I all for PROGRESSIVE.
I like almost everything (folk, electronica, metal, orchestral, hip hop, pop, etc..)
but the high ones have got to be
-Breakbeat
-Progressive
-Jazz
-Metal
-Symphonic.

and artist, eh dont even want to list em but vocalist !!
-Tarja Turunen; her voice of such passion and power wrapped in beuaty.
-Dustin Kesrue; the master of the vocal style spectrum, just listin to “The Messenger” shreding vocals fueled with such anger, “Silver wings” Angelic tone that makes you feel so at peace, “Moving mountains” Just makes you want to grab a gal and dance ! He does it all and amazingly I wish I could sing like him he truly has no boundaries in his voice
