I just can’t understand!
I’m in major need of an ankle implant. I have a job, make just enough to not quite get by, have insurance that considers ankle replacement an experimental procedure. A wife and son that are Bi-polar. My wife can’t work and cannot collect disability. We are fighting with the school district because my son fell through the cracks because of his frustration and disalutionment about getting help because he has a learning disability. Where do I go? When my wife flipped out because of the Bi-polar, I couldn’t find any help trying help her. Nobody could do anything. Now I’m stuck again. I’ve applied to the hospital for some financial help. I live a very frugal life. I am not extravagant. When the general public wants something they just charge it. Then when they get so far in debt, they bail out and claim bankruptcy. I won’t live that way. Really, I just charge when an emergency arises. I have recently resorted to charging most of my expenses, only to keep better track of where my money goes and because my expenses have become more than I make.. I know this sounds like I’m whining, but I’m at the end of my rope. Where is the light at the end of the tunnel? All I really want is a little compassion from the insurance company to help pay for my ankle? How do I get the insurance company to reconsider their evaluation? $40,000 is not chicken feed and I need the ankle to be able to continue working and continue supporting my family.
