I am really scared right now.

My dad was diagnosed with Leukemia last Spring, and right now he in recovery after the chemo, but he has some internal bleeding and things aren’t going very well. All I ask is for your prayers and if you would keep him in your thoughts. Thank you so much.

Recently been where you are now. I will pray for you both. It is a very hard time and half the time you won’t know what is the right thing to do. This is quite normal. The best advice I can give to you is tell your dad you love him everyday. I hadn’t said that for years, my dad knew I loved him, but that wasn’t good enough, it was for me to tell him and remind him. We often forget to tell the people we love most in our busy lives. I am so gald now that I did this small thing, it ws the least I could do and also the most.

Ok, so new update: Things got worse about last week, and the doctors finally said there was no more they could do. We took out the tubes on Monday and he passed away shortly after. But I am still so grateful for all of your prayers. I’m sure they helped him to feel comfortable when he passed.

No it really helps to know people care. I mean, I can’t stand pity, but sympathy is very comforting.

Of course not. But you do have my sympathies. This must be a very sad time for you but just know that your dad loves you and he knew that. I’m sure he was comfortable to go. It sounded peaceful from how you described it.

I hope your ok xx
