My dad hates my brother.

Really hates him and wants him out of the house. My mom, thinking it’s for the best, wants my brother Carl to move in with our aunt. Wouldn’t Carl just feel more unloved by my mom?

And why am I loved by my dad? What makes me so perfect? I hate it.

I told my mom that if Carl went, I went with him. How do I face my dad now? All I want is to kick and punch him and yell in his face.

I can’t live without my big brother.

As the oldest of five I undrstand the love bothers and sisters have for each other and feel your pain. I also know your older brother would never want you in the cross fire. Yes tell you Dad how much you love your bro but keep clam and cool headed. Rember you are still family no matter what address you have. I know it’s hard but a zip code or a time zone is nothing these days he’ll just be a call or click away.

Does carl get into a lot of trouble? If so, could it be that your father is just fed up with dealing with it?

Fathers & sons are always in conflicts , I think you should tell your father your opinion about the whole situation & please be close to your brother in this tough time , he needs your love & support now more than any other time.

Hate and fear look the same…maybe your dad fears your brother behavior? Dads respond to actions better then words.
