im really sad.

im in 7th grade and i absolutely love the 8th grade at my school. but school is coming to an end all too fast. the 8th grade will be graduating and leaving in less than 30 days. i have a boyfriend in the 8th grade. on top of all that, 4 of my friends are leaving to go to a different school next year. 8th grade will be so boring. i get miserable everytime i think about this.

Haven’t you got friends in 7th grade? Is there someone you could make friends with?
What about your boyfriend, you will see him anyway won’t you?
Try to think about studying a little more than your missing friends when you are at school. Also, if you have an interest/hobby - go to the library and see if anyone is taking books out on the same subject and ask about their interest and how long they have been interested in it for. You may find you have a good friend all of a sudden. Hope this helps.

You can still be on touch with your boyfriend & your friends , & You will meet other interesting people when your friends leave your school , you will have more friends . I think you have nothing to worry about , Cheer up because you will have a chance to make new friends & add them to your old friends , isn’t that exciting ? :D

Ahh, you are predicting the future!!! Think of it as a new chapter about to begin. Sure, it’s sad to see some of your friends going off in new directions… but you also have opportunity to meet new people!!! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised…. so try to keep an open mind and things will go much better rather than going in expecting it all to be boring!! :) Seize the opportunity for a fresh new school year!! :)

I want to pass on some good advice I heard recently.
“Don’t borrow pain from the future.” You can’t truly anticipate what the future will bring, and being miserable today about it prevents you from enjoying all of the lovely people and relationships and opportunities that you have right now.
All of the actions that you take right now will help to shape your future. A future that might be full of unexpected surprises and fun. I wish you the best.

I do like that advice erin.since197. ‘Don’t borrow pain from the future.’ The not knowing is what really scares and most scares never see the light of day.
