How do you end an awkward silence when talking to your crush?

So we’ll be talking either in school or on youtube and then suddenly an awkward moment happens. Either he says something or I say something and we have no CLUE what to say to each other. Please help me learn things to say to get over these silences without sounding random

start giggleing and say you just a=can’t handle silence or some thing like that or say a random animal or fruit or letter and be like im glad to get that off my chest (but make sure it’s a funny letter like q,w,r,t,p,dhjlzxb those are the funny letter jk but they work and try not to say housesold pet it’s funnier or when your really bored think of and insane theory like i have one about Vampires. If a vampire bites you you turn into a vampire but if you bite it will it turn into a humn and if it bites you as a human would you be a human or a vampire.
