Is Xbox 360 a good console?

People say you need AA battaries and they have over heating problems and the Xbox 360 im buying is the pro which has 20GB, So is that enough space for saving games such as Grand theft auto 4. Also im wondering if you get a red ring of death, can you fix it with out sending to to microsoft

Thank you for helping!

My X-box 360 works fine. If you’re really worried about ti breaking on you there is a insurnace thingy you can buy for a little extra that says you can trade in the broken one(if it breaks) for a new one as long as you keept the box and paperwork. As for the batteries it comes with recharable ones so no biggy there. However remember this, every time you buy a game console-a new one better one will come out in a month! lol

first off i have to say the 360 is an awesome system, ive never had any problems with mine and all the games, in my opinion, are much better then any other system(wii, ps3, etc…), as for the memory space if all your going to be doing is saving games and stuff then 20 GB is plenty of memory, the elite system with the 100 GB memory is for people who download movies and crap on there

My 360 rocks! its a great social network too. I have many friends in and around the Boston area and run a friend group at www.fubar360.tk I have a Wii and a PS3 and that get dusted and the PS3 dose get used when i pick up a new Blu Ray film of for Sing Star, but even that has gone cold since the introduction of ROCKBAND.
In short it is well worth the cash and if your getting one now you can grab one for as little as £150 and the latest ones have addressed some problems with the first console release so don’t let those who have problems with overheating put you off If they properly venterlated the thing in the first place the diagnostic chip wouldn’t of overheated and given them a fault reading!! anyway there is a 1 year warranty on all things and a 3 year warranty on that problem to reassure you of there confidence.
