I Like my besfriend, im 23 and she is 19

So i am bestfrieds witht his girl and we hang out all the time, i am 23 and she is 19. she recently dumped her boyfriend cause he was drunk and made out with another girl. So she dumped him but still is talking to him. I have talked to her about how i like her a couple of different times and the only thing She says is it would be weird to think about being with me because i know her better than anyone else and were such good friends. I am attractive but she says she doesnt like tall guys. I just dont know what to do. the only reason she can give me is that she only thinks of me as a friend but she says i am good looking and she likes seeing me everyday. she even wants to be roommates. i just dont get it, help me out….i cant get off from liking her and she even admits that she is being stuborn and not wanting to look at our relationship any different.

you should just look @ her as a friend as well…even if it is hard. just look @ ur friendship the same way as her and she will come around.

I would just give her a little more time. My best friend and I in high school ended up dating for three years, but he liked me first and it took me a little while to get used to the idea of changing our friendship.

Now, I’m in a somewhat similar situation with a different guy friend, but I’m not sure that he likes me as more than a just a close friend. He’s really quiet so it can be kind of hard to tell. I have a question for you though if you don’t mind responding. We’ve discussed being roommates in the past and he always sounds really excited at the prospect, so my question is: do guys want to be roommates with girls they like as more than friends? I wasn’t sure if he like the idea because he’s comfortable with me as just a friend, or if he likes the idea because it would give him a catch to get closer to me. I’ve asked a few other people and they all give different answers, but you’re in a similar situation so I thought maybe you’d have a better response.
